What is Co-Location?
With Co-Location, your own personal servers are physically located in AISO.Net's secure Green Data Center, connected directly to the Internet backbone.
Why Co-Location?
Co-Location allows your data to be accessed at high speed without the need to employ IT staff and purchase costly equipment and lines at your location. This allows you to free up your IT staff so they can add more value to your business.
Why AISO.Net?
We own our own green data center powered by on-site solar panels. We have redundant power in place including propane generators which will ensure your server is always online. Your server can be monitored 24 hours per day and if a problem would occur our technicians would be notified within 4 minutes of server failure and will do what is necessary to bring you back online.
What can I do with my server?
By having your own servers, you will be 100% responsible for your content and hardware. You will be able to run whatever services you prefer (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, etc.) on the OS of you choice (Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac, etc.).
What if I have more than one server?
That is great, we can handle it. Just let us know how many servers or racks you want to move to us and we can work with you so you can be hosted in the greenest data center in the world.
Will I have physical access to my servers?
Yes, access to your servers are included. All cabinets are locking and only visitors with the appropriate access are allowed into our data center. You will be escorted since your server(s) are in shared co-location, unless you purchase a full rack. Shared co-location means that your server is in a secured rack with other co-location customers.
What do I need?
Just bring your server down or ship your servers to our green data center and we will do the rest. Make sure you install all the software you need and configure your server prior to sending it to our green data center.
I don't live next to you?
No problem. With PC Anywhere, VNC, SSH or Mircosoft Terminal Services, you have complete access to your server from anywhere on the Internet. This capability is available 24 hours a day. For minor items which a remote access program can not handle for you, our technical support staff is available 7 days a week. For most common problems, there is no charge for our technical support services. You can also install an IP KVM to access your servers or use the servers' remote management card.
What type of Internet connections do you have?
Please see our data center technology page for more information. We can also provide you with any other carriers that are located at One Wilshire, Los Angeles; please contact us for pricing and more information.
What type of rack rails do I need to install my server into one of your racks?
We require adjustable rails that will mount in the standard EIA hole pattern. Our server racks are enclosed 4-post cabinets without threaded holes in the front and rear posts. If you need assistance choosing the correct rack rails, please contact us and we will help you with your selection.

After six months with a Blogger.com account I decided I wanted to be at my own domain. Since the topic of the Evangelical Ecologist is Christian ecology, I hunted around for environmentally-friendly web hosting, and found AISO. What caught my attention first was the solar-powered web servers and the great prices. What has kept me around has been the terrific service from Phil and the staff. Got gobs of help publishing my site, first through Blogger, and then (again with tons of help from AISO)...
